Cellular Health
Dr. Bender shares that it is not about taking pharmaceuticals that can mask symptoms,
make you feel better while a disease continues to destroy your cells or produce side effects -
It Is About The Body Healing Itself!
Healing itself one cell at a time.
The body is a perfect machine that wants to be healthy.
We must supply our body with the help it needs to replicate and maintain healthy cells.
His passion for making a difference in peoples' lives is unparalleled.
He believes that eating raw foods in the proper combination,
maintaining at least 70% levels of glutathione and
replacing the body's clustered water
can make a big difference in enjoying your years and in fighting off diseases.
His book "The Triangle of Life" goes into much more detail.
I have attempted here to peak your appetite to learn more.

What are the four stages of disease?

Stage 1:  The cells die or cannot function normally
so  their ability to contribute to the body in an
integrative fashion is compromised.  The number
of cells involved is not great enough to alter
function.  Therefore, the body compensates and no symptoms develop to tell us of the problem.

Stage 2:  Cell abnormalities continue and yet we
continue to compensate for this dysfunctional
increasing number of cells.  It is at the end of stage
2 and the beginning of stage 3 that we, the whole organism/body begins to experience symptoms.

Stage 3:  Symptoms now occur to indicate that our
cellular structure is not fully functional and in
normal harmony with each other.  Therefore, we
have the presence of symptoms.  These symptoms
may be so general, i.e. tiredness, headache, loss of
appetite, brain fog, etc. that you just keep on with
your daily routine and responsibilities.  Finally, the
symptoms progress enough to cause you to seek
medical attention, for diagnosis and treatment.
Generally, if a person is in the 3rd stage of disease
and the corrections are applied in time, there is a
good chance that tissue regeneration and a
restoration to normal health will take place.  Drugs,
to mitigate or control symptoms, will help you to
feel better and resume your normal activities.  Unfortunately, very
few drugs give your body what it needs to recover
from intracellular abnormalities where cellular
regeneration needs to take place with dysfunctional
cells removed and replaced with healthy cells.

Stage 4:  The number of abnormal cells is now so
great that the body can no longer function in a
normal manner and the opportunity for healing
(a return to a disease free condition) is unlikely.
Even in this stage, the body can fight against
disease and may significantly impede the cellular
dysfunction and destruction that occurs with
disease.

How can we help the body to fight disease?

Therefore, it is imperative to protect our cells and
prevent the evolution of the 4 stages of disease.

Prevention is the key.

Triotein is the only combination of whey substrates
to provide your immune system with what it needs
to protect against illness and disease. Triotein
provides the cells with the natural ingredients
necessary for the liver to produce glutathione.
While glutathione can be added to the body by
pills or by injection, Triotein can provide the body
with what it needs to produce the glutathione
naturally. This whey protein substrate bypasses the
digestive system and goes directly to the cells
where the process is most natural and effective.

AIDS research and Triotein:

The information on AIDS and Triotein (GSH). was originally done on Immunocal.  The Immunocal product is still on the market and is the first generation for the glutathione substrates.  Triotein also provides the substrates but because of what is improved in the manufacturing we are able to increase the intracellular synthesis of glutathione.  We are not allowed to market this as such as we are trying to keep away from allowing litigation.

The research was conducted at several hospitals in Canada and since that time other research centers have also found that if an patient is HIV positive but is able to maintain their intracellular level of GSH the disease does not proceed to the HIV related complex state.  I have seen AIDS patients regain heir ability to put on weight and actually have a return to normal activity and eating habits.  As with everything this is not 100% and response can and does vary.  Weight gain goes from a few pounds up to twenty two pounds, in the study I remember.  The increased levels of GSH also, on many patients, reduces the viral load and blocks the syncitium from forming that paves the way for the spreading of the virus, cell to cell.  Also the NK cells were found to demonstrate an increase.  NK cells are the natural killer cells that the body uses to destroy the virus.

The CDC (Center for Disease Control) also put out a bulletin in 1996/'97 that recommended the use of the whey protein isolate as an adjunct for AIDS therapy.

Facts about Digestion

*  The body breaks down 300 to 800 billion cells daily.  These cells have become toxic to the body and must be eliminated.  The other source of toxins to the body comes from our FOOD!

*  Toxins must be removed or the body malfunctions.  Illness, headaches, fatigue and the inability to prevent body breakdown are results of cellular damage secondary to toxins!!

*  Digestion takes more body energy than any other function.  When you awake in the morning you have more available energy than at any other time of the day.

*  Food is energy.  All the qualities of the food including color, shape, texture, taste, size, weight, etc. express and manifest different vibrations present in them.  According to the ancient Chinese theory of five elements, and also Ayurvedic medicine, each flavor, color, shape, etc. belongs to a phase.

*  Our digestive organs work in harmony with the energy present in all the five phases of food so that it is good to include them all.  It is good to include a salad with vegetables of different colors something green, red, white, yellow, etc. as they will stimulate our appetite.  A satisfying meal would offer the five flavors, sour, spicy, salty, bitter and sweet.  Two flavors may be combined in a dish.  The bitter flavor is harder to obtain, but we can find it in leafy greens, watercress, endives.

*  For acid/alkaline balance, it is recommended that our diet should be made up of:

35-40% vegetables and fruits (raw, fresh,
                 providing the alkaline chemical medium)

40-45% whole grains (acid forming foods) and the rest beans or other source of proteins (acid forming foods)

Natural Body Cycles

These cycles are called Circadian Rhythms.  Circadian means “around the day.”

Circadian rhythms are occurrences of different functions of the body at certain times during each 24-hour period.

There are three distinct 8-hour cycles:

4:00 AM to 12:00 noon             Elimination (body waste and food debris)

12:00 noon to 8:00 PM            Appropriation (eating and digestion)

8:00 PM to 4:00 AM                  Assimilation (absorption and use)

When you awake in the morning with “morning breath” and a coated tongue you are experiencing the effects of the elimination cycle.

Understanding Proper Food Combining Principles

In order to properly cleanse the body, a food-combining regimen must be instituted and followed.  Before this can be done, it is essential to understand the basic principles.

1.
Eat Fruit Alone

The single most beneficial habit you can cultivate in regard to your food intake is the habit of consuming fresh fruit and fruit juice from the time you awake in the morning until 12:00 noon.  Fruit requires very little digestive energy and is the only food on earth that requires no digestion in the stomach.  The reason for this is that it contains its own digestive enzymes – when vine ripened.  It is actually predigested.  Fruit is a very simple food.  It contains sugars that are ready for the body to utilize, and provides its own enzymes, so it does not need much time in the stomach.  Your goal is to pass fruit out of the stomach as quickly as possible, so that its nutrients will be absorbed rapidly through the walls of the small intestine and colon.  Fruit is also a detoxifier.  It has the highest water content of all foods and travels through the body very quickly.  Besides the nutrients that it provides, the fiber in fruit acts like a brush to keep the intestinal walls clean and clear.  The soluble fibers in fruit also help to lower cholesterol in the blood by binding with fat and moving it through the intestines preventing absorption.  Fruit also helps to raise your blood sugar and cleanse the wastes from your system.  This is why you should not combine fruit with other foods, or have it too soon after eating protein or starch.  If you do, the sugar in the fruit will ferment in the stomach, causing bloating and gas pain.

Generally, fruits may be combined with each other.  However, melons are the exception.  They should be eaten alone or combined with other melons because they are made up almost entirely of water and need very little time to digest.

After eating fruit, allow at least 1 hour before eating any other kind of food.  Morning is the best time to eat fruit, because then you can be certain other foods have already left the stomach.  It is not recommended that you eat fruit for dessert after a meal, as it will be held up in your stomach by the other foods causing it to ferment.  Wait a couple of hours then enjoy.

Traditionally, dieticians advise us to eat a healthy hearty breakfast consisting of foods from the four food groups.  However, scientific data proves that food, except fruit, eaten in the morning interferes with the elimination process of the body thereby causing deposition of waste into tissue, otherwise known as cellulite.

2.      Know the difference between proteins,
      carbohydrates and fats

In proper food combining it is important to understand how certain foods are classified.  Starchy foods require different digestive enzymes than protein  in order to be properly broken down and used by the body.  The digestion of starches begins in the mouth with the enzyme ptyalin, which is contained in your saliva.  Proteins are mainly broken down in the stomach, by hydrochloric acid and the protein-splitting enzyme, pepsin.
It is strongly advised that you avoid the traditional American meal of meat and potatoes, or meat and other starches as well as sandwiches containing cheese, meats, eggs or other proteins.  When you think about how regularly we consume these combinations, it is no wonder that indigestion remedies are among the best selling over-the-counter medicines in this country.

When protein and complex carbohydrates (starch) are eaten together, ptyalin is not effectively produced in the saliva, and so the starch is not predigested in the mouth.  It enters the stomach and begins to ferment, producing gas.  To make matters worse, protein needs to be digested in an acid environment and starch in an alkaline environment.  So, when starches and proteins are combined the acid and alkaline digestive juices neutralize each other.  All this decaying food is held up in the stomach, causing gases and discomfort and your body begins to absorb partially digested good particles, which cause two responses, inflammation and a leaky gut, and allergic response.  More important, the nutrients you need to rejuvenate and replenish your cells are destroyed in the decaying and fermenting process.

This dietary cycle can eventually lead to premature aging and illness.  In fact, after 35 years in medical practice, I firmly believe that it will and does in the majority of people.

The reference to protein foods is mainly referring to animal proteins.  Some plant foods, such as beans, contain natural combinations of starches and proteins.  If these foods are eaten alone, the body is able to digest them properly by releasing the proper digestive juices in the proper sequence.  Even so, some people do feel uncomfortable after eating beans.

Protein with non-starchy vegetables is okay.  Vegetables are high in water content and are relatively easy to digest.  They can be broken down in either can acid or alkaline environment.  Therefore, they can be combined with proteins.  The enzymes in the vegetables actually enhance the digestion of protein.  The fiber contained in vegetables helps to move the non-fiber protein foods rapidly through the intestines.

Carbohydrates with vegetables are okay, too.  Since vegetables do not require their own specific digestive enzymes, they can be digested in the alkaline environment required by starches.

3.      Skip the beverage with the meal

When you drink a beverage with your meal you dilute the digestive juices that are needed to break down your food, preventing it from being properly digested.  The best time to drink fluids is between meals, at least one half hour before or two hours after.  If you are eating fruits and vegetables which are high in water content, beans or grains that are prepared with water, then the food itself will provide plenty of fluid and you should not feel thirsty immediately following your meal.  If you do find you are thirsty after eating, you may be consuming too much salt.  You may drink fruit juice or water in the morning combined with eating fruit.
